Vikings, Normans and Medieval Knights are setting up camp in the heart of Evesham to demonstrate how arms, armour, and life changed during the High-Medieval period (1066-1485) Following on from the Norman Invasion, through to the start of the Tudor dynasty. Each century will be represented in the battle arena – with a multi-period fight at the end of each day. Over 140 re-enactors will welcome visitors into medieval life, showing how skills, crafts and medieval medicine during these 400 years developed into what we are familiar with today.
